At Gfoundation, our mission is rooted in compassion: to support vulnerable families and communities with the resources they need to build resilience and hope. Over the past six months, this commitment has been reflected in many initiatives, including our ongoing work to stand beside single mothers with dignity and strength.
This August, through our continued partnership with Neighbor Plus, we were able to take a more personal approach. Rather than simply sending items, the Neighbor Plus delivery ministry team carefully budgeted and shopped for groceries while personally visiting each single mother’s home to deliver them directly.
These visits brought not only practical support, but also moments of connection, encouragement, and prayer. Mothers shared how meaningful it was to open their doors and receive these gifts face-to-face, knowing they are seen, valued, and never alone.
Beyond these deliveries, we also shared a special time of rest and joy together. On a Sunday afternoon, children and mothers were invited to a pool party at the deputy leader’s daughter’s home. The afternoon was filled with laughter, delicious food, and the simple joy of play—moments that reminded us that celebration and community are just as important as material support.
Moments like these remind us that support is more than just meeting immediate material needs—it is about building community, strengthening hope, and reminding families that they are cared for.
