What We Accept

  • We gratefully accept only brand-new, unused items to ensure dignity and safety.
  • Please note: We cannot accommodate unscheduled walk-in donations or small individual drop-offs.
  • Corporate contributions and Donation Drives are warmly welcomed — please contact us in advance to arrange delivery.
  • Donors are responsible for shipping costs.
  • For safety and quality, we are unable to accept:
    • Used items (even if in good condition)
    • Expired or opened products
    • Food or perishable goods

Yes! Gfoundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
In-kind donations may be tax-deductible for both individuals and businesses, as permitted by the IRS.

Whether you’re donating as an individual or on behalf of a business, the IRS requires the following steps to claim a tax deduction for in-kind (non-cash) donations:

1. Determine the value of your donation

  • You are responsible for calculating and recording the Fair Market Value (FMV) of the donated items.
  • Gfoundation does not assign or verify value, as required by IRS regulations.

2. Receive a donation acknowledgment

Gfoundation will issue a non-monetary written acknowledgment confirming:

  • Item description
  • Quantity
  • Date of donation
  • Whether any goods or services were received in return

💡 No dollar amount will be included in the letter.


3. Complete IRS Form 8283

  • For total FMV over $500:
    You must file IRS Form 8283
  • Section A: For donations under $5,000
  • Section B: For donations $5,000 or more, a qualified appraisal is required
    • A qualified appraisal must not be dated earlier than 60 days before the contribution date.

Yes, to ensure transparent management and prevent loss of donated items, We only accepts items registered through the application form. Before sending your donation, please make sure to complete the form and follow the instructions provided by our staff.
