This August, GFoundation partnered with Neighbor Plus to provide grocery assistance while strengthening relationships with single mothers through personal home visits and community activities.
Grocery Assistance Delivered with Care
Through our ongoing partnership with Neighbor Plus, volunteers carefully planned grocery purchases within their budget before personally delivering them to each family’s home.
Rather than simply dropping off supplies, the team spent time visiting with each mother, offering encouragement, conversation, and prayer.
These home visits reminded families that they are seen, valued, and supported by a caring community.
More Than a Delivery—Building Relationships
Every family’s journey is different, and meaningful support begins by listening.
By visiting mothers in their own homes, volunteers were able to provide not only practical assistance but also genuine connection. These moments created opportunities to build trust and encourage families who continue working hard to provide for their children.

Later that month, Neighbor Plus invited mothers and their children to a pool gathering hosted at a volunteer family’s home.
The afternoon was filled with laughter, shared meals, and time together. Children enjoyed playing with friends while mothers had an opportunity to relax, connect with one another, and enjoy a welcoming community.
