Known for his acclaimed work on screen, actor Lee Jung-jae recently made a meaningful contribution off screen by supporting girls experiencing period poverty in Korea.
During an appearance on the popular Korean television program You Quiz on the Block, which aired on November 29, 2025, Lee Jung-jae donated both his quiz prize and an additional 10 million KRW to help girls who struggle to afford menstrual products.
Supporting Girls Through Menstrual Health
Through GFoundation Korea, Lee Jung-jae’s donation will help provide menstrual hygiene kits for girls facing financial hardship.
These kits include essential menstrual and hygiene supplies, helping girls manage their periods safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
For many families, menstrual products are a recurring expense that can become difficult to afford. Access to these basic necessities helps girls stay healthy, participate confidently in daily life, and focus on school without unnecessary barriers.
