Since July 2021, GFoundation has been actively involved in the United Nations’ ECOSOC partnership. Through this collaboration, we engage in critical meetings, contributing to the global dialogue on key challenges and solutions.
On July 16, GFoundation had the privilege of attending the ECOSOC 2024 High-Level Segment, which focused on multilateral solutions to create a sustainable and resilient future. The discussions highlighted the critical role of international cooperation in addressing the challenges of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) amidst multiple global crises.
During the session titled “Multilateral solutions for a better tomorrow: the role of ECOSOC towards a sustainable and resilient path by 2030,” we gained valuable insights into the collective actions being taken by Member States, UN organizations, and civil society to reinforce the 2030 Agenda.
As GFoundation continues our mission of building restrooms in Africa, empowering single mothers and vulnerable communities, the forum’s emphasis on resilient, innovative solutions deeply resonated with our commitment to sustainable development.
