Since July 2021, GFoundation has partnered with the United Nations as part of the ECOSOC partnership. Through this partnership, we actively participate in essential meetings, sharing and addressing global challenges.
We believe that understanding our ongoing commitment and updating the challenges we face globally is crucial not only for adults and organizations but also for the next generation—children and youth.
Therefore, GFoundation organized the UN Children’s Tour to provide our staff’s children with the opportunity to learn about the issues and the roles they can play in addressing them. This educational tour is rooted in GFoundation’s commitment to addressing the four most critical Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identified by the United Nations: poverty, hunger, health, and education.
As they entered the UN building, passing by the 195 flags representing different countries, the children were filled with awe and aspiration. They were then faced with portraits of past UN Secretaries-General.
They started by learning that the UN focuses on three primary areas: Peace, Development, and Human Rights.
The children engaged in meaningful discussions about the SDGs and their significance. They explored various SDGs and brainstormed ideas on how they could contribute to these goals.
One child suggested turning off lights in every room at home to conserve energy. Another child thought about reducing food waste to tackle inflation. They also reflected on the situation and facts about refugees affected by natural disasters and political issues and examined the support packages provided by the UN to those in need.
The tour also emphasized the importance of equal access to education. The children saw educational supplies sent by the UN to support less fortunate children, realizing the value and impact of education.

Visiting the General Assembly Hall, they imagined world leaders convening and felt inspired to dream big.
As the tour ended, the children shared their thoughts.
“I’m glad to know there are many things I can do to help those in need.”
“I learned that not all children have access to education, and I wish for every child in the world to go to school and receive an education.”
At GFoundation, we aspire for the next generation to become compassionate and responsible individuals who look out for those in need and make significant differences. We are committed to continuing these children’s education and fostering the growth of future generations.
