A Visit to the Dream Center Resource Collective

On a recent visit to the Dream Center Resource Collective in Long Island City, Gfoundation joined several nonprofit and church partners to pick up donated items that would soon reach families across the region.
How Shared Resources Support Local Communities
The Dream Center Resource Collective serves as a distribution hub, connecting donated goods with nonprofit organizations across New York City.
Through programs such as:
- Mobile food pantries
- Partner pickup systems
- Community outreach initiatives
the warehouse helps move essential items from donors to organizations working directly with families in need.
What We Received
During our visit, Gfoundation received:
- 13 “Boxes of Love”, including a Bible, rice, canned beans, and nonperishable snacks
- Additional supplies such as vitamins, chips, coffee pods, baby wipes, deodorant, and shampoo
These items will support families facing financial challenges and help meet everyday needs.
Reaching Families Beyond One Location
Some of the “Boxes of Love” have already been distributed through Metro Hope NJ, a children’s ministry serving low-income families in communities such as Bogota, Paterson, and New Brunswick, New Jersey.
By working together, organizations can extend the reach of available resources—ensuring that support moves beyond one location and reaches more families.
