After one year of sponsorship, eligible sponsors may have the opportunity to visit and meet their sponsored child, depending on program schedules and the child’s circumstances.

FAQ, Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How soon will I receive my children's information?
You’ll receive your child’s profile by email within 3 business days after your sponsorship begins.
Q. When will I receive my welcome package?
Your sponsorship welcome package will be mailed within 3 weeks.
Q. How often will I receive updates?
You’ll receive a progress report every 6 months, along with additional program news once a year.
Q. Can I send gifts?
Yes. Because your sponsored child lives in South Korea and you are sponsoring from the United States or another country, we are unable to accept or deliver physical gifts.
Instead, you are welcome to make a gift donation, which will be used exclusively to meet your sponsored child’s individual needs. Whenever possible, children are encouraged to choose the items they need or would enjoy most, with support from their teachers or caregivers.

Q. Can I write letters?
Yes. Sponsors are welcome to exchange email letters with their sponsored child through GFoundation.
