Gfoundation is dedicated to empowering single mothers, particularly in New York and New Jersey. We continue to enhance our initiatives and are grateful for the meaningful impact we’ve already observed.

In April, Gfoundation launched first initiative, distributing food and essential kits to selected families in need. We have partnered with Neighbor Plus, a local NGO that has been actively supporting single mothers for several years. Our meetings focused on how to effectively support these families, aiming to address the persistent challenges faced by single mothers by providing monthly support assembled to their needs.
These families now receive $100 worth of food and essential items monthly. The kits are carefully assembled to meet the daily living essentials of the recipients. The composition of the food and essential kits distributed in April was specifically chosen to address their needs and will vary each month, adapting to changing circumstances and feedback from the families. Each kit includes crucial items such as seaweed, tuna can, curry, spaghetti, sesame oil, dried pollock, scorched rice, ziplock bags, and paper towels.
The impact of our initiative has been immediate and heartfelt. One of the recipient mothers expressed her gratitude.
“With inflation so high, managing daily expenses had become increasingly difficult. The support with essential supplies and food has been incredibly helpful and much appreciated.”
Gfoundation carefully selects these items at Hmart and Costco, considering the specific needs of each family. This hands-on approach ensures that every kit is not just a bundle of goods, but a package of care tailored to provide support and encouragement.

As we move forward, we will continue to listen to the stories and challenges of the families we support and adjust our assistance accordingly. Our goal is to provide not just temporart relief but to foster sustainable improvement in resilient single mothers and their children.
Join us in making a meaningful difference. Your support can empower more single-mother families to overcome their challenges and thrive.
