Coming Together to Support Local Families
Each summer, the Paterson Block Party brings families, local organizations, and community partners together for a day of connection, resources, and celebration in Paterson, New Jersey.
In 2026, GFoundation was grateful to once again participate in the annual event hosted by Pilgrim Mission Church, continuing our commitment to supporting neighbors and strengthening relationships within the Paterson community.
Many families connected through the event included residents of Hilltop Haven, a local shelter serving women and families. The gathering provided an opportunity to share resources, build connections, and celebrate the strength of the local community.
Connecting with Families and Community Partners
Throughout the day, GFoundation joined local organizations and community groups serving families across Paterson and Passaic County.
Our booth was set up alongside community partners, including Metro Hope NJ, Family Support Organization of Passaic County, The Social Moms Club, and Paterson Task Force, allowing attendees to connect directly with organizations offering various resources and support.
The Block Party created a welcoming environment where families could enjoy food, games, music, and a community raffle featuring back-to-school items. It was also an opportunity for GFoundation to reconnect with familiar partners and meet new families in the community.
Sharing Resources Through Community Support
At the GFoundation table, mothers were invited to choose from a variety of items to take home, including Stanley tumblers, self-care pouches, and toys.
The toys were provided through Mom’s Mission Thrift Shop, helping extend the impact of donated goods while supporting GFoundation’s domestic programs for women, children, and families.
These moments of sharing reflected the heart of the event—neighbors supporting one another, organizations working together, and families receiving encouragement through community connection.
Stronger Together
For GFoundation, participating in the Paterson Block Party is about more than distributing items. It is an opportunity to strengthen relationships with families, collaborate with local organizations, and better understand the needs of the communities we serve.
We are grateful to Pilgrim Mission Church, Hilltop Haven, community organizations, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the 2026 Paterson Block Party possible.
