Local Students Drive Change with Major Clothing Donation to Mom’s Mission Thrift Store

Recently, a passionate group of Ridgewood High School students proved exactly that by launching their own “Sharing Challenge”.
Driven by a shared vision of environmental sustainability and neighborly love, these inspiring young volunteers rallied their peers to collect a massive donation of high-quality clothing, which they personally delivered to GFoundation’s Mom’s Mission Thrift Store.

“We wanted to take clothes that were just sitting in our closets—items still in excellent condition but no longer worn—and put them to work for a meaningful cause,” said the student representative for Ridgewood High School.
“Knowing that our small daily choices can directly uplift families in need while keeping textiles out of landfills and protecting our planet gives all of us a deep sense of purpose.”
