Since July 2021, GFoundation has been in partnership with the United Nations as part of the ECOSOC partnership.
This partnership involves collaborative efforts under the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to promote sustainable development across various sectors, bringing together diverse stakeholders to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These partnerships aim to leverage resources, expertise, and innovation to address global challenges and foster a sustainable future.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global agenda adopted by the United Nations in 2015, consisting of 17 interconnected goals designed to address the world’s most pressing challenges by 2030.
GFoundation is committed to addressing some of the world’s most urgent issues in collaboration with the United Nations, with a focus on the top four challenges highlighted by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): poverty, hunger, health, and education. Our partnership with the UN seeks to utilize our resources to contribute meaningful contributions toward eradicating poverty, ending hunger, promoting health and well-being, and ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for everyone.
GFoundation is proud to have participated in the 2024 UN ECOSOC Partnership Forum, showcasing our commitment to sustainable development through our partnership with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). This event provided an opportunity to demonstrate how our mission aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and contribute to various initiatives.
Our Gfoundation team from Korea’s participation in this year’s forum offered a valuable chance to reflect on enhancing our collaboration and making a significant global impact. It enabled us to engage in discussions about leveraging our strengths and resources to address pressing global challenges effectively.
The insights and experiences gained at the 2024 UN ECOSOC Partnership Forum have further motivated us to continue our journey towards sustainability. Inspired by this forum in 2024, we are more committed than ever to leverage our expertise, resources, and partnerships to make a difference in the world.
