A Monthly Program Bringing Stability and Encouragement

In February, Gfoundation continued its Single Mothers Monthly Support Program, providing practical assistance and community support for single mothers and their children.

Through this initiative, the organization offers financial assistance, essential supplies, and encouragement designed to help families navigate daily challenges with greater stability.

Working alongside our partner organization Neighbor Plus in New Jersey, volunteers gathered to prepare the requested items submitted by participating mothers. Many of these requests reflected the everyday necessities that help keep households running—such as groceries and household supplies.

Meeting Everyday Needs for Single-Mother Families

After reviewing the requests, volunteers visited local stores including H-Mart and Costco to purchase the items needed by each family.

The supplies were then delivered directly to the homes of the mothers participating in the program.

For many families, these monthly deliveries help ease financial pressure and provide practical support during challenging times. Simple necessities like groceries and household items can make a meaningful difference for mothers who are working hard to care for their children on their own.

A Community That Shows Up

Beyond providing material support, the program creates opportunities for connection and encouragement.

Volunteers shared that seeing the mothers’ gratitude and joy when receiving the supplies was deeply meaningful. These moments remind everyone involved that the program is not only about meeting practical needs—it is also about showing care, presence, and solidarity with families who may otherwise feel alone.
