This past Christmas,
GFoundation teamed up with the Korean Church of Syracuse to share some holiday cheer with 20 refugee families in Syracuse, New York.

We prepared special Christmas packages filled
with things like cosmetics, toys, socks, and clothes to make the season a little brighter for these families.
The day of the event was picture-perfect with fresh snow blanketing the city.
Since transportation can be a challenge for many refugee families, the wonderful volunteers from the Korean Church of Syracuse stepped in to help.
They picked up the families and brought them to the church, making sure everyone could join the celebration.

At the church, we started with a short worship service and then handed out the gifts.
The moms and kids were all smiles as they received their Christmas cards and presents.
The kids couldn’t wait to open their gift bags, eagerly showing each other the toys they received.

For the moms, we included thoughtful gifts like cosmetics, perfumes, and cozy clothes.
The kids got toys, hand sanitizers, and other fun items.
Knowing that many of them have siblings, we packed extra goodies so they could share with their families back home.
After the gifts were handed out, we all sat down to enjoy a warm lunch prepared by the church.
It was a heartwarming time to connect, encourage one another, and celebrate the true spirit of Christmas together.

Thanks to your support, refugee families were able to enjoy a much warmer and brighter Christmas.
We are deeply grateful for your generosity and invite you to continue supporting GFoundation’s efforts to assist refugee families in need.
