Education
Education unlocks a world of opportunities beyond the classroom; it offers protection from exploitation, a path to earning a quality income, and the opportunity to achieve dreams.

An estimated 258 million children and youth are currently deprived of the power of education.
59 million children of primary school age(6-11 years), 62 million of lower secondary school age (12-14 years), and 139 million of upper secondary school age (15-17 years) are out of school. Girls are 50% more likely to miss school and fulfill her right to formal and quality education. Why are so many children involuntarily out of school? Many countries lack the necessary infrastructure, qualified teachers, and educational materials. The number of schools are simply not enough for the number of students. Families struggling to meet their basic needs may not be able to afford school fees, uniforms, and other supplies and only have the option to give up education. Girls involuntarily miss many days of school due to their periods. Issues such as early marriage and children in conflict areas are also significant social facts that prevent children from exercising their right to education. GFoundation works for quality education for all, for girls and boys, women and men to have opportunities.
