Preparing for the Thanksgiving Season Together

As GFoundation prepares for its upcoming Thanksgiving Donation Drive, we’re grateful to receive support from businesses that share our commitment to caring for local families.

This fall, Trader Joe’s Murray Hill joined our efforts through its Neighborhood Shares Program, providing GFoundation with its first in-kind donation from the store.

The donation included energy bars, reusable shopping bags, and a canvas tote—practical items that will help support families participating in our seasonal outreach programs.

Meeting Everyday Needs for Single Mothers

While preparing for our Thanksgiving distribution, our partner organization, Neighbor Plus, shared that many of the single mothers they serve would benefit from convenient, nutritious snacks to help them get through busy days.

Energy bars may seem like a small item, but they can provide a quick source of nourishment for mothers balancing work, childcare, and daily responsibilities.

Thanks to Trader Joe’s generous donation, GFoundation is able to include these items as part of our Thanksgiving outreach, helping families receive practical support during the holiday season.
