A Growing Gesture of Care
This spring, Whole Foods Closter made a second in-kind donation to support single mothers in our community—this time with both a broader range of items and expanded reach. We’re grateful not only for the generosity, but for the continuity. Continued support like this reflects a shared commitment to meeting real, ongoing needs.
Reaching New Places, Meeting Real Needs
Thanks to this second donation, we were able to support mothers in both Palisades Park—where Whole Foods first contributed—and, for the first time, a shelter in Clifton, New Jersey. The Clifton shelter had been experiencing a shortage of supplies, and the donated kits arrived at a critical time.
Practical & Thoughtful Help
The gift kits included daily essentials such as household items and vitamins. Seven single-mother families at the Clifton shelter are now using these products. The items were selected with care and have provided immediate relief to families managing tight budgets.
The carefully curated products, especially the vitamins thoughtfully selected by the Whole Foods team was deeply appreciated by the mothers.
Meaningful Partnership
We appreciate Whole Foods Closter for continuing to support our efforts. As economic pressures grow and everyday necessities become harder to afford for many families, reliable partnerships like this allow us to provide practical support where it’s needed most.
What may seem like a simple gesture—restocking shelves, delivering kits, remembering a date—can quietly affirm dignity, ease burdens, and remind mothers that they’re not navigating it all alone.
That’s what meaningful support looks like.
And it’s something we can all be part of.
