At GFoundation, we are committed to supporting underserved communities across the United States. One of our core missions is to stand with legally recognized refugees—offering consistent care, compassion, and tangible support. Over the past year, our team has visited refugee communities in Louisville, Kentucky, and Dayton, Ohio, where we continue to provide ongoing assistance.

This April, the Missional Conference hosted by Pilgrim Mission Church, GFoundation participated by sharing stories from our work in Africa—especially in Madagascar, a beautiful yet under-resourced country. Through a presentation and booth, we had the opportunity to raise awareness about people in need and the challenges they face.

While the presentation was taking place, a special activity was prepared for the children—designed to help them understand, in their own way, how they can support those facing difficult situations, including refugees.

After learning about the lives of refugees and discussing what it means to care for someone in need, children attending the conference took part in a hands-on activity: making handmade pouches for refugee girls and women. Before they began, they were taught not just about the challenges refugees face but also how even a small gesture can express love and solidarity. Each pouch was decorated with heartfelt messages, written by the children themselves.

These pouches will be filled with essential menstrual hygiene products and gifted to refugee girls and women.

This moment reminded the children that giving help isn’t just about supplies—it’s also about showing care and kindness to others. And for the children, this project opened their eyes to the many people in the world who need support and care—and most importantly, it showed them that even at a young age, they can make a small but powerful impact.

GFoundation will carefully package these pouches and deliver to refugees with care—carrying not only hygiene products but also the message that they are seen, loved, and never alone.
