The Holiday is Coming!
The streets are buzzing with Christmas cheer—bright decorations are everywhere, and Christmas carols fill the air.
It’s a time when many of us look forward to spending time with family and reflecting on the year that’s passed.
Just For My Kids
But for some, this season isn’t all about holiday joy.
There are people working hard just to provide for their families and make sure their loved ones have enough to eat.
Single mothers, in particular, are still working on Christmas Eve, doing everything they can to make the holiday special for their kids.
Samantha (45) is one of those moms. She’s working non-stop this Christmas, trying to buy the gifts her child has been hoping for, with little time to actually enjoy the holiday herself. In the cold, she works through the exhaustion—her hands and feet aching—but she pushes on. All she can think about is getting her child the perfect gift.
We just glad that our families are be together
There are also children who’ve come from far away, spending their first Christmas in a new country.
Though it’s unfamiliar, they still feel the warmth of the season and the hope of receiving a gift.
They might not ask for much, but like any child, they dream of presents.
As they hear other kids talking about their Christmas gifts with their parents, they can’t help but feel a little left out.
But even so, they’re grateful to be with their families during this time.
Thank you for joining us!
For single moms and refugees, the idea of a cozy Christmas at home with plenty of food and presents may feel like a far-off dream.
While we can’t give them a home or a big holiday feast, we can make a huge difference.
With just $30—a simple meal out or a new piece of clothing—we can give them a gift that goes beyond presents.
We can offer them warmth, hope, and the true spirit of Christmas this year.
Join us in making this season brighter for those who need it most.
