At GFoundation, we are thrilled to have launched our first support program for elderly individuals living alone or elderly families in need in December of last year and January of this year. Partnering with our local NGO organization ‘Neighbor Plus’, we extended a helping hand to approximately 18 seniors, supporting both individuals and households.

Understanding the challenges that elderly individuals living alone face, we carefully selected items to provide both warmth and comfort during the cold winter months. Our support packages included outerwear such as jackets to help them stay warm, as well as cozy hats and thermal socks to provide additional protection against the cold. Additionally, recognizing that many seniors often lack the time to care for themselves beyond basic needs, we also included fragrances to bring them a meaningful sense of dignity and self-care. Each item was chosen with thoughtfulness to ensure that our elderly neighbors felt both physically comfortable and emotionally uplifted.

The success of our program was made possible by dedicated volunteers from our local community who carefully packed and prepared these care packages. Their commitment and compassion brought warmth and care to each delivery, ensuring our seniors felt valued and supported. The collaborative effort demonstrated the power of community in making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

We personally delivered these essential packages to seniors in Flushing, New York, and Palisades Park, New Jersey, ensuring they received the support they needed. Many of the recipients expressed gratitude for the kindness and generosity extended to them, as these small acts of care reminded them that they are not alone.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and uplift our elderly neighbors. This is just the beginning, and we remain committed to expanding our support to ensure that more seniors receive the care and assistance they deserve. Together, we continue to build a community where everyone feels valued, supported, and remembered.
